Laura, the feather detail is so good, I want to reach out and pet him...:) soft and beautifully defined. Lovely portrait. This is such a regal and elegant...um... killing machine. :) Love them.

Very nice portrait. Nice DOF and flash control considering a zoo setting. I like, but then I like anything 'raptor'.

A very nice portrait. I hate to see birds like these that are not taken care of as well as they should. The beak is overgrown and almost cracking, meaning that the bird has not had enough roughage to tear on and so his beak is growing too fast. Eventually, if the beak is not trimmed, the beak will break and cause lots of eating problems.

I really love the capture though.
