Black Skimmer
Stone Harbor, NJ

I'm just now looking at some of my photos from mid-summer and thought this Skimmer "skipping" along the water was cute.

Digital capture with Canon EOS 1D Mark II
Canon 500 f4 with 1.4x TC
Manually exposed at 1/1600, f7.1
ISO 400
Tripod with Wimberley Head (first time in the field with the full Wimberley Head)

Image comments/critiques appreciated!

Heather,
A wonderful image, one that brought a smile to my face. He (or she) looks as if he (or she) is having fun.

Great exposure, composition, water drops, leg position -- I could go on. I love it.
