Born in Chicago, Paul grew up in Florida and returned to Illinois for college and law school. His legal career has been devoted to representing unions and working people. He travels throughout the state for his practice, and his camera and tripod come along. He loves the gentle, subtle landscape of his home state and the photographic challenges it presents. He also enjoys travelling and capturing the historical and cultural features of the locations he visits.
Paul was invited to become a Naturescapes moderator in 2004 in the Elements of Humankind gallery which is now the Travel and Culture gallery. He is inspired by the talent and creativity of the photographers who participate there. You may see more of his work at his website.
