Another photo from my Christmas trip to Florida. This Ruddy Turnstone was photographed at Jolly Roger Trailer Park on Grassy Key, where we were forced to overnight. I don't have many action photos so I am very happy to have this one in my archive.

Thanks for looking

I love the action, first Ruddy Turnstone that I have seen with the open mouth. Congratulations.

This is great! Love the mid-scream capture. Beautiful rock perch and nice blue bg.

Nice shot! I've found these critters to be rather difficult to approach round these parts. I'd love to have something even close to this.

Truly exceptional shot. I agree with Juan, I have never seen this either. Light, perch, bg and exposure are just right.

Nice shot!!
I've never seen this bird in freedom.

którą wieków pokrył kurz,
usłyszałem niespodzianie,

A really interesting image since it appears that this bird is calling at the top of its lungs. Reminds me of some of the songbird images I've seen. Excellent color, comp, and nice detail.

Excellent bird and pose!!!

Image:
More than likely a yawn and not a vocalization, excellent exposure and detail, the contrast is excellent as well, the perch has been approved by Alan and I agree, It's a nice one, excellent colors and overall a great capture!!! Congrats!!! 8)

Alex, you are right, it was probably a yawning individual. It was about 10AM and they were resting. I have e few shots like this, even in a sequence so that could confused me. Thanks,

Nice detail in the bird; nice blue BG. I can almost hear him calling from here. Nice capture, Fero.
