Well, my drought of image posting continues but I found some time this evening to work on some images so I thought I should post something. This was taken last winter in Duluth, MN when I went up for the big owl invasion last winter. Canon 1D II, 600 IS, etc........

This is way cool, Brian! 8)
But not as sharp as your usual ... There seems to be a loss of plumage detail for some reasons. :?

Nice capture with the touch of snow and the berry in the beak.

Excellent composition and the loss of detail makes for a painterly look.
I like it a lot :D

Really nice. I missed this shot when I was up there  It could go a bit brighter IMO.

The berry in the beak rocks!

Did you use a noise reduction filter on this? I'm with KK that it looks a little blocked up.

Beautiful composition amd behavior. the snow on top of the berries is extra cool. the image lacks a bit of snap and looks a bit muted and not quite sharp. i'm sure a little USM and curves could cure that in a few seconds.

Great shot Brian. A bit more USM wouldn't hurt.

I agree with Alan. It could be a little brighter. Otherwise, this is too sweet. Great shot, Brian.
