Martin, this is a nice shot. It comes up a little dark in the midtones on my monitor, however. I think the remedy for that is a very simple curves adjustment. Could also just be my laptop. Love the open bill and black detail is fantastic. Great work! :D :)

Looks a little dark - could use some curve adjustment but an excellent composition, excellent open bill, perch and background. Alan's shot at it is better.

An excellent composition involving this cool little bird singing away. Alan's repost shows how to bring out the more punchy exposure that lurks in the original post, also better showing the great plumage detail captured. Very nice post!

With Alan's curve adjustment, this image really rocks! I like the subtle colors in the BG and the perch is awesome. Love the pose too! Very nice image Martin!
