This was taken today at Elisabeth Morton NWR at the NWPLI outing.

Canon 1D 500mm f4 1.4x 550ex, Tripod Ball head Sidekick, Evaluative metering -1/3 1/60 @ f10, Auto focus.

Wonderful! We tried to pick out a color that would be neutral and not scare away wildlife, I think this is proof that it's "wildlife approved". :D

This is a great shot, even without the hat. Nice green background and that bird is sharp!
