I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised with the results, at least compared to the new Canon RAW conversion software. The contrast is lower in Adobe but that equates to more dynamic range. There is more fine detail in the images and the color, while not as punchy, is acceptable. This is only my initial impression playing with one or two images but the additional detail was strikingly apparent. P.S. this is the same image I have in my newsletter but re-processed in Adobe and flipped (I like it better flipped. EOS 1D MKII, EF 600/4 IS, 25mm extension tube, 1/100 @ f9, ISO 500, two flashes as main light, -1/3 in ETTL II. Greg Downing
