Spring means the return of Red Winged Blackbirds. And there are plenty of them in the swampy area where I live. I took this image in early morning light and I love the lighting on this image but I'm torn on the cluttered background. Comments and Suggestions are always welcome.

Thanks,
Travis

The BG looks fine to me, very natural and not distracting. Great action pose of a neat bird - I like the sunlight off the wing and tail (?) feathers. No nits here.

Travis, this image works for me, with the background being soft enough to show habitat without distraction.

Well done!!!

Very nice. :!:

Great action with the wings and call. I like the inclusion of enviroment to images as well so this one gets top marks from me. The exposure of the black, red and BG well handled.

Travis, Marvelous pose on this morning songster!!!! The BG is its natural habitat and by no means offensive. :D :D
