Canon 10D 600 IS Lens Gitzo Tripod, Winberley Head, Fill Flash -1 1/400 f8 ISO 200 Manual Incident Metering -1/3 Tucson, Arizona.

At the ASDM there is this resident barn owl with gorgeous plumage who poses for the visitors at the entrance. I enjoyed visiting the museum, there are extremely friendly toward nature photographers. I hope you enjoy, all comments are welcome.

Very nice! A very handsome owl. This has a bit of a blue tint to it and a slight curves adjustment to pull the blue down makes this even better.

For those that don't know ASDM stands for Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum - it is located just west of Tucson near the West Unit of Saguaro National Park.

I have been there many times but this bird has never been on display while I was there - usually its a Kestrel or a Harris's Hawk. This is a very nice portrait!

Very nice image, but I agree that the bird's color seems too cool compared with the warmer background. For printing, I'd consider getting rid of the Beamer specks--looks like there are natural catchlights.
