Canon 1DS Mark II 600 IS lens plus 2X TCII 1/500 at f8 ISO 400 BB -1 J Bar Ranch, Alice Texas

These Meadowlarks are very curious and at this time of the year are not displaying on a perch, but they are still quite cute with the contrasty yellow of the breast. THe background is what it was, just dried grass, at times gave me the impression of a bad cloning job. This is almost full frame. I hope you enjoy, all comments are appreciated, thanks for looking.

A wonderful shot, Juan!
Love the contrasty yellow of the breast which is the center of attraction in this one ...

Juan, I shot some of these when in Roma a few weeks ago. The birds were paler. This is were they spend most of their time, so this is a great habitat shot.

This is where I see 95% of the Meadowlarks around here. Nice pose.

Very nice, Juan. I am envious. I have almost nothing on these guys.
