All,

This is probably what I view as one of my best Black-crowned Night-Heron shots. This along with 3 or 4 other flight shots are the ones I am most proud of to date.

Canon Eos10D + 400mm f/5.6L @ f/13. 1/2000th sec, ISO 200, EV -1 2/3.

Superb composition, Chris!
Perhaps I'd like to see the image a little brighter in this case ...

Chris, I think you're having too much fun up there! This is a beautiful image. I like how far out the head sticks from the wings!

Smashing pose, from the top with an over-the-shoulder look, & sharp wing-tip to wing-tip. Gotta love this! Best flight shot of one cooperative bird!

You have every reason to be proud of this one, Chris. The extended and banking angle really set this image apart. Nice job.

Whoa. This is one sweet flight shot. Love the steep angle of the wing position. Very well done. 8) 8)

Extremely well done and it really shows the swept forward wing of these birds better than any shot I've seen.

The composition is great.

There seems to be a lot of noise. It looks like it was underexposed a stop or 2 and then brought back up.

The color balance looks a bit weird, but that may just be the conversion to the web. It looks better with AdobeRGB assigned as color space.
