The Duckshop was all that I expected and more. I had longed envied the postings of Pochards by others, so it was very nice to finally get my opportunity.

Neil,

Awesome portrait!!

The Pochards were one of the primary ducks I wanted when I went to DuckShop last year. I didn't get anything this nice.

Nice shot, Neil! Tricky of you to leave the whites in shadow so they are prefectly exposed. Love the red eye and bill on these guys!

Gorgeous shot Neil.

I must say I don't recall our RCP's having bill's quite that colour :?

That little water drop in his bill is a nice touch too :)

Neil:

Very sharp, well exposed and composed of this handsome subject. My only suggestion is to clone out the partial reflection so it will not be distracting. Congratulations.

Neil,
Excellent in every way. The observation on the white areas is well taken. I'd better post something soon or all the good ones will have been shown.

A fine a portrait of a Pochard as you could get. I got shut out last year with them and would have loved to have had any picture of one. Excellent job!
