Nikon F5, Nikkor 500mm f4 AF-S, Nikkor 1.4x TC, SB26 with BB, Aper. priority f5.6, SS? matrix 0 comp.
Photographed at Wakodahatchee. (Was first place winner in Florida Wildlife magazine, Dec. 2002). Some quality lost with scan on flatbed.

Nice shot and well deserved winner. The scan doesn't do this justice but that's understood from a flatbed. It looks ever so slightly tilted clockwise.

The composition with the reflection and the way it all comes together as a triangle is great. I can see why this was a winner. I imagine the original is just superb.

Your image, 37k, is posted at about a third of what is allowed, 120k. I'm sure the original is sharp and full of detail. Love the colors and composition.

Nice composition and it is not hard to imagine this when scanned on a dedicated 35mm quality scanner.
