Canon 1Ds 600 IS Lens 1/640 at 5.6 ISO 400 Cropped to vertical, Noise Ninja. Roma, Texas

During our Roma Workshop with Greg Downing, there were plenty of cardinal opportunities but this behavior of a male coming to the female to lovingly share the meal was only a single fleeting opportunity. It was truly a very gallant gesture of the male since there was plenty of food for both of them.

I hope you enjoy, all comments appreciated.

Juan,

Excellent capture of this moment. I'd darken the area about the male's claw.

Very nice, Juan. I posted a similar image of the same behavior, recently. I actually like the birds' positions in yours a little more. The out-stretched position of the female makes it for me.
