There were no special circumstances that prompted me to select this photo as a personal favorite; I just like it even though I managed to miss the head reflection. Mr. C comes from the early January Duckshop in Phoenix, 2004.

Glad to see one of your favorites came from that shoot :) Its a nice photo - you might be able to get some detail out of the white body by doing a linear conversion and combining it with the standard conversion.

I like the water droplets on his face and beak. By the size of the wake seems he is in a hurry to get somewhere. :D

Such a contrast between the dark facial areas and the body.

Very nice image, Joseph! As Alan mentioned, the calm water up front and turbulent water behind add interest to the image. These ducks are so dignified and you captured that dignity very well here.
