Hello Avian NatureScapers:

I don't get over here too much any more to post, but have enjoyed some superb photography here.. I found a group of wood storks standing in a shallow pond at sunrise, a little east of Everglades City, on a dirt road off of 41, during a quick "weather break" in Jan..My subject here obliged me with a few poses just as the sun came up..

Thanks for looking and for any comments/suggestions...

Beautiful picture Dennis of one ugly bird. Just great lighting and background. These guys make it to Salton Sea in CA every so often.

Great shot, Dennis. That dirt road was probably Turner River Road, which is almost always productive.

Lovely image, Dennis. The golden color in the water gives it a nice sparkle. :)

Wonderful shot of this juvenile stork. Detail and exposure are exquisite, and the golden light gives the image a special feeling. I wouldn't mind a drop more room at the bottom.

This is really sweet Dennis. For a moment there I was dumbfounded, because the reflection was so perfect I thought the birds legs had white and black feathers at the bottom! Lovely post.
