It is awesome I can tell you.
Tonight was the first of many nights that I expect to be out under the stars and Aurora as it has finally cleared off after three weeks of cloudy skies.

Canon 1D 24-70 mm ISO 200 at 15 secs at F4.5

Tonight's display which is still active was//is one that words and images cannot express. The brightness of the display...( see my camera settings)and then the explosion of green, reds, orange took over...in all of the years I have never seen such beauty of Aurora and we have lived here for 10 years. Many of the shots I got show the aurora right down to the ground. We will share more over the next months as we go out.

Yes we do feel privileged to see such sights. :wink:
