 Well, if you call a salad 'prey'. I don't know if this grass tasted that good or if the Coot was just really hungry, but he was slinging this stuff all over the place while he was eating. I would like a slightly more frontal shot, but I like the water spray on this so here you go. USM and slight adjustment in PS CS Shadow/Highlights adjustment. , They are mostly vegetarians, they love the tender shoots of water plants, great exposure on the beak/feathers and excellent detail on the overall, , flying water and open beak is but a bonus!!
