Thoreau once said that the bluebird carries the sky on his back. But can the sky ever be so blue? I took this last June while in eastern Washington. I just wish that I had one of Alan's perches with me

I just love the cool tones in this and I was thinking steel blue, then I noticed the perch. Perfect! Mountain bluebird too, nice.

Michael, Great detail and exposure. The bugs are a nice touch. You didn't have the best light but you made the best of it. Well done.

I love the pose and the background. The bug is a great bonus. I agree that one of Alan's perches would put this over the top.

Very, very nice. :D

I love the saturation, the perch is OK since the color compliments the bird.
