Thought i'd post another Grey heron. This time bigger in the frame..
This one was shot in Harmelerwaard/ The Netherlands, yesterday morning.
You can still see some dew on the grass.

Canon Eos 350D/Soligor 1.7x TC/Sigma 300mm F2.8 EX APO HSM/Noise Ninja/Levels/USM/on Beanbag from Car Window.

Greetings,

Jeroen

Interesting shot, Jeroen!
Comp looks a little awkward but would suggest cropping from right just pass the foot. Also the image look way over sharpened ...

I like the intense look and the pose. I agree with KK about the cropping.

I really like the intensity of the pose. I think I would like to see just a touch more light in the eye area.

I like the intense look. Noise reduction has washed out feather detail
except for a few spots which seem oversharpened.

Intensity describes these birds well and you've captured that intensity well in this shot.
