%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% OK, this seems a bit better. I agree there are some issues w/the background, I may at some point attempt some cloning work, so he doesn't look like he's about to be beamed up by aliens Thanks everybody for all your comments... %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% I wish this fellow would have come out into the warm autumn sun in Chicago today; but he was happy bouncing around in his territory beneath a shady tree. Comments and constructive criticism welcome. Also a question: I have another pose with more of a side angle, so that more of the bird shows; however, the background is busier, and there is a heavy shadow cast by the flash. So is the better pose worth the price of a few photographic undesirables? emil
