This was taken on last weeks Jasper STL. Here Chas is hoping to shoot either ravens in flight or coyote.

Canon 10D with 500IS with 1.4II TC on tripod. ISO 200, 1/640 @5.6

Yes the hat the only thing I wear up here in winter ...must be a nice day Flaps are up LOL

With this many clothes Chas you will fit right in up here....and you would be welcome to come any day. :wink:

Hey now, that hat is a lucky charm, but seriously, a guy was killed by a Great horned owl wearing one :shock:

Regarding colorful clothing, most birds and mammals could care less, especially those that are habituated to the human presence, like those in national parks, preserves, etc. However, most waterfowl, wild canids, and a number of others do benefit from camo clothing, but movement and scent remain the most detrimental.
