This juv. Black-shouldered Kite is practising its hunting skills and gives me good opportunity to practise handholding the 500 f-4...

Taken this morning in Sydney.

Real nice image. :)

I like the crop and the tight corners left and right accentuate his dive. And the eye is to die for. Great job Ofer and welcome to the 500 f/4 HH crowd. It helps to pump some iron when not afield. :D

Ofer -

The pose is dynamic and artful.
Nice job getting the head/eye tack sharp. The top-side plumage pattern is awesome.

Great flight capture! What a terrific looking bird - I almost prefer the juvenile plumage.

I think I would have fainted if this was mine and I pulled it up on my monitor for the first time. Stunning work!

An incredible image Ofer. I might add a little more canvas on the right and bottom, to get the bird aiming into the corner.

Thanks Alan, I have done exactly that - had to add some canvas to the bottom as I wanted it to aim to the corner. I didn't want it to be too small in the frame.
