A backyard garden shot from this morning. It appears that the males have departed our garden, here in upstate NY. Three females remain.
Canon 500MM F4 and 1.4x, one flash, ISO 400, f5.6, EC of -1/3 and flash comp of +1. A 50% crop from the original. I have had success using the 2x and even stacked 1.4 and 2x with stationery hummingbirds but not birds in motion. Jeff Nadler
