BLACK TERN hovering
Canon 1DMKII, 70-200 F2.8IS @ 200mm ISO 250 F5.6 1/800s.

It's been one year less three days since I found this site (thanks to Artie's News Letter). What an amazing site! Many, many thanks to all for your comments and for posting your incredible inspirational images!! Special thanks to the moderators, Greg and Heather for your tireless work on this site! I have learned sooooo much and I feel my photography has improved by leaps and bounds since I first started to post here

Thought this was a fitting image for the occasion, as you just won't believe how many hours I have spent to get it. I will have to work on them again, as this bird has started to molt

Thanks again to everyone.

Best,
Chris

I second that comment Chris! Time was well justified none-the-less! I'm still hoping to get a trophy shot, but in due time, it will come hehehe.

1 year hey? Well, you've brought some of us here, lots of help, subjects and laughs! Great to have people like you around!

Great capture Chris, I love the wing position and overall composition.
