Shot on a hot, humid day with all area birds open-mouthed for cooling.
Canon 1DMkII, Canon 400/2.8 + 2.0 TC II on Gitzo and Wimberly thru the portal of a doghouse blind. ISO 200, 1/500 @ f/8. Ambient light only. Cropped 10% top and right. All input welcome.
