Taken the day before Jim Urbach arrived. Observed that this Summer Tanager would grab a Mulberry and then perch on a nearby tree, so I followed the bird so the that I could get a perch suitable for this week's motif!!!!!!!!

Please enjoy and comments appreciated.

Beautiful shot, Hugh. The only suggestion I have is maybe a little room on the bottom for the virtual tail.

Well done.

Gorgeous bird. Love the cherry in the bill. Love the green background against the red.

What a "berry nice" image you have here. Good thinking on watching and waiting. The bird is beautiful...the perch wonderful....and with that mulberry...it couldn't be better.

That's a beauty, Hugh.

A sweet Summer Tanager. I've never had any luck at the Mulberry tree but have not been there this late in the year (early April is the latest). Well Done and I love the berry.
