This was taken yesterday in the Sax Zim area It was snowy and windy and the Great Grays didn't come out till the wind died down but it was worth the wait.

The composition is outstanding and the snow falling adds the final touch. A magnificent shot.

Great shot, Jimmy. Love the snow on the owls head to add to the scene and your perch is super too.

Hi,

this is great, and evidently it was well worth the wait. It was a pleasure to meet you.

I love the snow on the owl's head. I was up there 2 weeks ago (I'll post one of the shots tonight) and will be heading up this Friday for the weekend.

Really a great moody shot.
You really captured the world these guys live in with this photo, complete with the snow cap. The falling snow and perch really put this over the top!!
