Still a good image, but it would be nice to see the whole head portrait to get the beak away from the body.

I like the diagonal in the composition - I agree it would be nice to see the beak in profile.

There seem to be some dark smudges in the bottom left corner - also the color in that corner doesn't quite seem to match the rest of the sky (I could be wrong - I'm viewing it on a poor laptop screen). It looks like there is some horizontal banding in the sky in the other portions of the image but there is none in the bottomleft quadrant. I'm guessing that you cloned out some twigs in that corner, but I'm perplexed at what causes the banding the sky.

I see some dust spots in the lower left, but I don't see the banding that you're seeing.

I just checked again on my desktop machine and I don't see them either - I think it must have been an artifact introduced by using remote desktop (which I think compresses images before sending them). Sorry for the false alarm!
