Here is another shot from my feeder from yesterday. I wanted to try something different. There are not many seeds on branches now in the winter, so I decided for a branch with a small apple, since they grow near my feeder. It is very satisfying to get what you pre-visualize a night before. I have Great and Blue Tit, Hawfinch and Greenfinch on the same branch, but Great Tit goes best with the apple, I might post other later. I like the result a lot but I am not sure whether the apple doesn't compete a lot with the bird? What do you think? Thank for your comments and critique.

I like the shot but do think the apple does compete with the bird. This is especially true since it is a lone apple just standing out by itself.

This is an excellent shot, Fero!
I personally think the little apple hardly adds any value to the composition here ...

The apple does compete for my eyes attention since it stands out from the BG more than the bird but I still like the image

Very different... I'd leave the apple in even though it does compete with the bird. 8)

Lovely bird and composition here Fero. You are really showing your skill lately with these feeder shots. I find the apple interesting, it does take your eye off the bird but I think it works.

Fero,

Even though I found my eyes bouncing back and forth between the apple and bird, I think the overall composition works very well.

Thanks,

Nice shot. I think the apple is a bit overpowering, but nice nevertheless.

Fero, I think this works because of the position of the apple and the bird, they balance each other. I like this a lot.

Different unique composition, to me a little unbalanced.

I'm really enjoying your setup shot Fero. Keep them coming. I like your idea here. That's about as small as an apple as you can get away with. I think it's great.

I love everything about this one except I think the apple may be a little too big. The pose, perch and BG are excellent.

I think the apple adds a lot to this Fero. I'm so jealous of the shots you are getting at your feeder and am eagerly awaiting an invitation! 8) Keep up the great work!
