Taken in April at the STL California Triple D workshop. Mountain Lions are a favorite of mine, so cougar cubs were especially fun to shoot. I saw this about to happen, picture the moment I wanted and fired the shot when it occurred. This is something I am try to get better at doing, and these workshops are a great environment for practicing. I particularly like the way the log it is on follows the same shape of the cub.
