Taken in April at the STL California Triple D workshop. Mountain Lions are a favorite of mine, so cougar cubs were especially fun to shoot. I saw this about to happen, picture the moment I wanted and fired the shot when it occurred. This is something I am try to get better at doing, and these workshops are a great environment for practicing. I particularly like the way the log it is on follows the same shape of the cub.

Brett, You might want to repost at 650 across the longest side, to show off this really nice shot. At 400 ppi, it lacks the impact I know it's capable of.

Thanks Wayne

I don't know what happened to the first post, the image was sized at 800 x 400 but it didn't show up that way. Hopefully this is better.

Very cute shot Brett. It is such a typical cat pose-I like this one a lot.

Very cute now that I can see it. The first one would make a nice postage stamp

Very cute! Good anticipation and I like how the log works so well with the kitten.
