Wilson's Warbler
Rocky Mtn National Park, CO
I just got back from a few days in Co, was a nice escape from the desert heat. I was waiting for a moose to come out of a willow thicket when I noticed this little guy flitting near by. When he hopped on this clean perch I couldn't believe that he actually sat there long enough for me to capture several frames.
This is a crop from horizontal. I'm undecided about the color. It is adjusted some but still doesn't look quite right.

A lovely capture! Nice job of catching this one in the open like that. It looks a bit oversaturated and has a lot of blue visible in the black cap. Having said that it still looks great! Nice shot.

OK thats sort of what I thought. Even the un-touched image looks oversaturated to me. I'll keep playing.. thanks!

Wonderful shot of my namesake. :D I too see a bit of blue cast but its not that bad. Remarkable that this energetic tail-flitting bundle stayed put for you. Great job taking advantage of its visit. Could take a bit more USM.

Cindy, yet another high class shot from you. I love the relaxed pose of the bird. I like the perch going into the corner. I like the clean OOF BG. My only nit is the little branch that looks like it was cut off. I would clone that to a more rounded edge, and only because this image is so wonderful.
