Hello everybody,
haven't posted a pic for a while... too much work.
I got this one a week ago while visiting a friend in DE at Bombay Hook. I used a homemade groundpod.
Too many insects at Bombay Hook...
Comments and suggestions welcome as always.
Thanks for looking.
christoforos

ps. help with the ID is needed. I thought Least Sandpiper but the legs aren't green-yellow.

Excellent BG, exposure looks good, very nice detail, and I like the low angle. Well done.

Lovely image Christo..................

Sorry Murphy, Jill got this one right.................remember our shorebird ID workshop in TX? Look at that short, stubby, tubular-shaped bill..........a dead giveaway for a Semi.

I'm never one to disagree with an ID from Jill or Brian. It's a wonderful shot with all the right elements for a shorebird image.....and I love shorebirds. Nice job!

Lovely shot and nice bird posture. The rocks really add colour to the image.

Nice, low level shot.
It's a semi-palmated sandpiper. The straight bill with a blunt tip is the key.
