Black-tailed Godwit

In their peak breeding plumage, this trio of Black-tailed Godwit was captured at a nature reserve here in Hong Kong few weeks ago. Again it breaks the 'good seperation' rule for group flight shots ... :wink:

EOS-10D, EF600/4L + EF1.4x
Incident @ -1/3, ISO 200

I don't understand how you can only teach them to open their beaks, but not to keep at least 3 lengths apart.

KK this is outstanding. I don't care if they are overlapped, in fact for me it adds to this composition. I like their uniformly open bills. And again, so SHARP!
