White-crowned Sparrow

There was a wave of these beautiful sparrows last week in the Botanical Garden in Montreal. They came about a week later than White-throated Sparrows. They are probably the most beautiful Sparrows. I love them.

Wonderful shot, these are handsome birds! Great focus, light, exposure, pose, tongue, etc. The only thing I might do is shave a tad off the bottom, I tend to not like the "focal plane" effect of shooting low on grass (OOF foreground, thin slice of focus, OOF background). That's a nit, though, and a pick. Very nice!

Lovely feathered morsel, great light, exposure and pretty good detail, composition is very nice as is, colors are good as well, congrats!!! 8)
