 (slide scanned on Epson 2400 flatbed, some sharpness and detail lost) Probing in swallow water netted several apple snails for this young Limpkin. Normally, not a shy bird, they are relatively easy to approach to within 50-60 feet, sometimes closer. (At least that has been my experience) gforrest.imageculture.com
