Canada Geese with Brood of Goslings

Shot this family at the Los Angeles County Arboretum this morning. I followed them around what must have been 50 acres or so until I was able to position myself on a muddy bank of the main lake which doesn't have much water left in it. I know my angle is a bit high but I thought the fuzzballs were cute.

I cropped all around, cloned out some white detritus in the water(probably petals from the white flora in the area) that I found distracting . I used USM.

Canon 10D, Canon 100-400, Canon 550EX (at -1 1/3).
SS: 1/200
Aperture: f/9.0
ISO: 400
Ambient Comp: -2/3

Very nice! The angle is fine for this shot. A lower angle would have caused the goslings to merge even more, to the detriment of the image.

I love the formation. Different than the usual line of hatchlings following behind the parent(s). Another plus is the ample DOF. Good shot.
