This was taken today while out with some NWPLI members.

Canon 1D 500mm f4 2x, Tripod Ball head Leveling Head Sidekick, Manual exposure using incident meter 1/80 @ f10 Iso 400, Manual focus.

Very green water that early in the morning. I was considering making the trip this morning but I noticed the thread on PM too late to ask directions. (And too late to get up early enough to make the 3 hour drive.)

I like the way they are all looking back at you. Were you making lots of noise? :wink:

and this is why jimmy was on location before sunup. great light!

anthony, the group is going back this sunday if you are interested. directions: sunrise/montauk highway, route 27 east until you drive to the end of long island! if you end up in the water, you went too far.
