Snowy at WAK. For a lower angle, I took the camera off the tripod and used a beanbag on the lower rail. I liked the composition better by creating a vertical crop from a horizontal capture. Canon 10D, 100-400, ISO 100.

I love these narcissistic reflection images. This is wonderful. Vertical was a good choice. :D

Jeff, this is beautiful. I wonder if it would make it stronger my removing the gray water in the upper right, plus the little white thing floating near the shoulder reflection.

:D :D :D A very beautiful image, you should be dutifully proud of this capture. The plumes dipping in the water is an excellent touch.

Very well done. I think maybe darkening the lighter part in the upper right hand corner might make it even more dramatic.

Jeff, I am a newcomer and incidentally I have started here, admiring your loely egret, my congratulations. Never have I seen such a clear reflection of a bird in the surrounding water :!: Beeing a real fun of herons and egrets I do appreciate the picture so much.
