Carolina Wren Central Texas

This was shot from a blind for bird watchers at Pedernales SP. The blind is in exactly the wrong place for photographers.

Shooting into the sun was a real challenge.

These guys don't sit still for long and I had a few empty frames or partial bird in the frame.

These are certainly tough birds to shot and you got a killer shot despite the harsh light. Great work.

Nice shot. Light really doesn't appear all that harsh.

A fine shot! You did a great job of exposing this one given the light you had to work with. I wonder why the upper bill has the "jaggies"? (at least on my monitor)

You did a great job withthe light it does not detract at all...I might clone out that hot spot in the BG behind the head, but really not a big thing...

Cheers,

I really wish I could have gotten over there on Saturday, Jim. Very nice indeed. Man, you nailed the fill flash on this. Tough lighting handled like a pro. I really the composition on this. The dead wood adds nice texture to the scene.

Enjoyed shooting with you and Eric on Friday.

The lighting situation was handled extremely well. I agree about removing the hot spot behind the bird.
