This was shot at Fort DeSoto last week under a lightly covered sky at the end of the day. To my advantage, the diffused light created a nice softbox effect to illuminate the white feathers of this Reddish Egret.

Fantastic light and exposure and fantastic action. Love the bubbles by the feet.

All right, don't hate me. But, I need a little more room at the bottom for the virtual feet.

That being said, how sweet of a capture is this. A Reddish Egret in mid-dance and the golden light is absolutey gorgeous. :D :D

Very sweet shot. Great feather detail, wonderful pose. I agree with a little more space on teh bottom, but itis a small nit. I wish I had one like this.

Excellent image!! I love the wing spread. I would like more room on the bottom too but the bubbles add enough interest to make up for it.

I love this shot - I like the low contrast and warm lighting, the environmental aspects and of course the dancing bird.

This is a fantasic shot! :D 8) :D The only nit for me would be the grass stalk growing out of his beak toward the top of the frame - easy enough to clone out and match with the others. I wish this was mine. :D

cheers, Oliver
