Cold, rotten, windy day yesterday. This is the prelude to some very hot action resulting in more Great Blue Herons :D

I love the lines created by the two bills. The blowing feathers give this a dynamic feel. I wish the legs weren't cut and it looks a little soft. Overall a very nice image. :)

magnificant shot, I would have liked to not have the legs cut off, though. Some day, I need to get there.

The pose is ideal and makes for great interaction. The cut off legs and the high contrast have already been addressed.
