This is another of our local winter residents. Taken from vehicle on a very cold day.

10D, 500 IS w/ 1.4, ISO 200, 1/1000, f/8

Cute image. I saw a juvenile end up in the bay after a bad steal attempt. He looked around like he was thinking "I meant to do that." Then he took off with no problems at all. It would have been a great sequence but it was too far out into the bay.

This image seems a little tight in the frame. But since I tend to do that all the time, I like it. :D
