Another Bosque Roadrunner

This image was taken at the same time that Don Schoenfeld did his headshot hand held with a 600 and 2X. I could never get the bird in the frame with my 600 and 2X, (I guess that I need to train more with weights). So I used my 10D and 400 5.6 instead.

1/640 sec, f/8.0
Mode: Program
Metering: Evaluative
ISO: 200

Nice one -- BG is slightly busy but I know how they hugged the sides of the road. You did a good job getting the entire bird.

The background is not too busy at all in my opinion, this is where they live - on the ground in brush and doing a lot of running. Well done although I would prefer a slight bit more room on the left.
