One of the shorebirds that got up close and personal with us on Sunday at Park Point, Duluth, MN. This was my first opportunity
to shoot with a 20D that I purchased from the sale of a 20x30 print!

Canon 20D, Canon 600mm f/4, 1/1000 @ f/9, ISO 800, almost full frame, USM, curves.

Regards,

Terry

Terry,

I really like the subtle colors here. Good tones and the foot position works very well. Glad you got some good shots in spite of the weather :)

Nice shot Terry and congratulations for the new 20D ! :) I wish for more room top, bottom and right and a bit less to the left.

Congrats on the photo sale, Terry!
An interesting pose captured. Would like just a bit more room atop though ...

Terry, I like the way the downsloping terrain, raised foot, and empty space on the left create a sense of movement in this image. Nice shot.

Congrats on the new camera and great work you are putting it through! Interesting angle on the ground. What a sweet, complementary BG.

Great shot! I really like the raised foot, the slope, & the bg. Would also prefer some more room on top.

Terry,

It might be a little tight (particularly on that tail feather :D ) but I like the pano crop. The one thing missing is a little more of a catchlight. Maybe some fill flash would have helped.

*makes mental note to himself* Pano for some shots good - for others too tight. :-)
