These penguins are quite timid so I had to use a hind/blind to get close enough to them but then I had the problem of them walking to close :?
All comments & suggestions welcomed and appreciated.

I do love penguins! Was it your own blind or a permanent one? Good exposure and detail. Several of the penguins have red eyes and so do loons. I love the yellow feathers. Looks like the rockhopper of the sub-anarctic islands such as the Falklands.

A great photo of such an amazing bird. Love the water drops on the feathers.

Excellent image, I bet the water droplets look fantastic on a full size print.

What is Pokotiwha a reference too ? I thought it was the location at first, but that's Monro beach, going by the caption.

The water detail adds a nice touch to this. I would have thought this was a captive penguin - until I read the info. Must be nice :D

Terrific! I love those pink feet and the yellow stripe across his head. Nice low angle on this, great pose and expression of the bird.

Pokotiwha is the Maori name for the Fiordland Crested Penguin.
