quite some work on the curves was necessary[/img]

Pelican close up made in Blijdorp ZOO in Rotterdam; the Netherlands. I was there to photograph wolves mostly, but since they didn't cooperate too well at that time, I strolled through the ZOO until I saw the pelicans. I had never made photos of them before, but saw some possibilities in their strange faces for a close up and decided to try it out. The light could have been better, but after all I'm quite happy with it.

My kind of shot Arthur! I agree the light could have been kinder for photography, but the composition with the colours, lines and contours is quite stunning!! Love it! 8) 8) 8) 8) :)

Sweet shot, I like it a lot. The composition works even with the eye in the upper left, good work.

Arthur:

Very creative, I wish the iris was as saturated as the beak, excellent composition.

Nice shot Arthur. good mix of colors and contrasting textures. you did well to come up with such a good abstract. I look forward to seeing more of your experiments.

All the best, Gearoid
