When I took this shot it was the open bill that interested me. After having looked at how busy the background was I just kept it as a record shot. Now, after having cloned out an even MORE distracting branch that looked as if it were precisely between upper and lower beak, I decided to go ahead and have some fun posting it as an entry in the "motive" for the week. I apologize for the shortcomings of this shot, but don't hesitate to criticize any and all elements that you can think of.
Canon 10D, Canon 100-400 (at 400mm), tripod and cable release. SS: 1/400, Aperture: f/8.0, ISO: 200 "Le temps est un grand maître, dit-on, le malheur est qu'il tue ses élèves."
