Ruddy on a Rusty Perch

Photographed this ruddy turnstone on the pier of Oostende, Belgium; the sun was getting low and created a strange glow on the water, on the left of the bird; i really loved however how the colors of the bird matched with those of the rusty wood;
Nikon D1, 300 mm , tripod, f5.6, natural light

The high shooting angle works rather well here showing off the rusty colored wood ...

Jim: "red X" means that the viewer cannot see the image, they get the square with a rex X in the middle.

The angle and composition on this one are different but very nice. This stands out. Good job !
